Oceanic BC29 Canopy

The plan for my 250watt canopy. I wanted a single 250watt SE 20000K bulb, with two 36watt power compacts. Made out of 1/2in. plywood.
I made these four plates from 2x4 nail plates I got from Home Depot. I hammered them flat then used a dremel tool to cut a keyhole opening in them for the wire hangers. Then I screwed them into 3/4in plywood.
Then I used 1/2in. plywood, small nailgun, and glue for the sides of the canopy.
All four sides on.
Mounting blocks for the power compacts.
Attached Ice Cap 80mm fan.
Attached spider reflector and single end MH socket.
Attached Sunpac 15in. dual 36watt retro kit.
After installation much better light. Brighter and much more blue. Great!
After running my Aquarium for a while with the Sunpaq Sundial HQI 150w hanging fixture. It became apparent that the SPS I was trying to grow were living but they were brown without much color. From my research I believed I needed a more powerful light source. I decided to increase from the 150w HQI to 250w SE bulb.
